The Oaks located at 114 South Humphrey, Oak Park, Illinois, is a beautifully rehabilitated, 6-story award-winning building that serves the elderly and persons with disabilities who are able to live independently. We offer both studio and one-bedroom apartments and our ground floor includes a welcoming landscaped atrium with seating, laundry facilities, community room, and computer lab. We are located within walking distance to public transportation, Pete’s Foods, The Harrison Street Arts District, and several other commercial districts where you can find shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. We encourage residents to enjoy all that Oak Park has to offer.
The Oaks’ independent-living, maintenance-free environment allows you to devote your time and energy to pursuing your personal interests and spending time with other residents, family, and friends. We regularly sponsor programs and activities that help make community living both easy and enjoyable. We also provide information on other services and activities available to you through the Oak Park Township Senior Services. Our onsite staff includes Property Management, Maintenance, and a Service Coordinator to assist residents with their social service needs.

The Oaks Service Coordinator
Our onsite Service Coordinator is available during normal business hours (Monday -Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm) to assist residents with services ranging from assistance with annual compliance with state and local certifications to finding ways to reduce medical and food costs. Our Service Coordinator also helps to facilitate resident engagement with additional services provided through Oak Park Township’s Senior Services and other community organizations.
