Housing Authority Elects Officers for 2015/2016
The Oak Park Housing Authority elected its slate of officers for 2015/2016. Louis Butler, an attorney with the Illinois Department of Insurance, was elected Chairman. Serving as Vice-Chairman is David Kralik and Linda Hill was elected Secretary/Treasurer.
Also serving on the Board of Commissioners are Doris Kelley, Eric Davis, Gordon Hellwig and Shenita Muse.
The Oak Park Housing Authority is an Illinois Municipal Corporation that was established in 1946 to assist low income elderly residents and families in finding affordable housing. It also owns and operates Mills Park Tower, a 198-unit building for low-income elderly residents. The seven-member Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority is appointed by the Village President and each serves a five-year term.
