New Rental Housing Subsidy Program in Suburban Cook County
Housing Choice Partners will host a telephone registration
on April 28, 2008 for the new Rental Housing Support Program
which will provide a small number of subsidized rental units in
various locations in suburban Cook County. Qualified applicants
will pay a low flat rent plus utilities.
Applicants for the program will be accepted by telephone only beginning at
9 am and continuing until 6 pm for one day only. Elegibility for the program
is based on the following income guidelines.
The total household annual income is no more than:
$15,840 for a 1 person household:
$18,090 for a 2 person household;
$20,370 for a 3 person household;
$22,620 for a 4 person household;
$24,420 for a 5 person household;
$26,250 for a 6 person household;
$28,050 for a 7 person household; and
$29,850 for an 8 person household;
HCP especially urges the currently homeless and/or disabled to apply.
If your household qualifies, please call (312) 435-1128 to register
for this new program. Registering for the program doesn't guarantee participation and all household income will be verified.
